”Secret strategies” is a popular search phrase, and it is usually answered with a list that promises more than it can deliver. This article does the opposite: it explains why secret strategies do not exist, and then goes through the variables a player genuinely controls.
Why no secret system can exist
The outcome of a casino game comes from a random number generator, and the return to player is built into the model before the game is released. If some order of stakes turned the expected value positive, the game could be drained systematically – and it would not be on offer. That is the core of it: a negative expected value is not a property of individual spins that could be dodged by arranging them cleverly, it is a property of every single bet.
The same applies to timing. The hour, the weekday, a preceding run of losses or a game being ”hot” do not change the probabilities. Every claim to the contrary assumes a memory between spins that does not exist.

How to calculate a wagering requirement
A bonus is the one place where checking the numbers pays off immediately, because the terms are written down. An example: a €100 bonus with a 35× wagering requirement means €3,500 must be wagered before the funds can be withdrawn.
